Junior forward Jarrid Famous was sidelined for USF’s game against Cincinnati Tuesday night with a knee injury he suffered in practice but USF coach Stan Heath said he expects Famous to be in the lineup on Saturday when the team hosts St. Johns.

“We looked at it and saw he had a limited range of movement,” Heath said after his team’s 65-57 win over Cincinnati Tuesday night.  “He was really in a lot of pain. It’s something that he should be able to play with Saturday but he’s going to need a full MRI (Wednesday) to make sure there isn’t anything else there.”

Famous is third on the team with 11.6 points per game and leads the team with 7.8 rebounds per game.
