After USF took a 6-3 lead into the ninth inning against No. 6 Florida Sunday in the final game of a three-game season-opening series in Gainesville, the Gators rallied in the bottom of the ninth, scoring three runs to tie the game at 6 and scored again in the bottom of the tenth to complete the sweep.

The Bulls used a five run eighth to go up five runs and scored again in the top of the ninth to go up 6-3.

Junior college transfer Andrew Barbosa started Sunday for USF, giving up three earned runs in six innings.

The Bulls scored just three runs in the first two games, losing 6-2 on Friday and 9-1 on Saturday.
