Matt Quevedo gave up two earned runs in five innings to lead USF (13-15, 5-1) to a 6-3 win and series victory Saturday afternoon at Cincinnati.

The Bulls, who dropped the first game Thursday and won the second game Friday against the Bearcats, won their second consecutive Big East series after sweeping Notre Dame last week.  Quevedo’s solid start came a day after junior Andrew Barbosa pitched a complete game shutout while striking out 16 in a 5-0 win Friday.

USF hosts UCF on Tuesday.
