The Bulls lost 8-7 at Rutgers Friday afternoon in the first game of a three game series after the Scarlet Knights erased a 7-2 early USF lead.

USF junior Randy Fontanez gave up five earned runs in six innings.

The Scarlet Knights scored three in the bottom of the eighth, while USF was held scoreless after the second inning.

Third baseman Daniel Rockhold and outfielder Stephen Hunt each homered for the Bulls, who play tomorrow at 1 p.m.
