The USF men’s tennis team, without No. 1 starter Lucas Jovita all season, fell 4-1 to Notre Dame in Saturday’s Big East semifinals in its quest to repeat as Big East champions.

The Bulls, who won its first Big East title last season, lost its No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 singles matches, and dropped its No. 2 and No. 3 doubles match.

The women’s tennis team, ranked No. 24 in country, also fell in the semifinals of the Big East tournament, losing 4-0 to DePaul.
